About the Event
Join doctoral student Elizabeth Schrader as she explains how Duke's resources helped her to turn her first published article into a national news story. We will explore the fine print of publisher agreements, as well as the pros and cons of working with top-tier journals. We will also explore how to maximize the opportunities that Duke provides to promote your published work. This talk will help Duke students move beyond the goal of simply publishing in in their field of study, to the goal of actually influencing their field of study.
